IDAHO CITY - An Idaho City man is facing felony sexual abuse charges after investigators say he solicited a minor on social media.
30-year-old Gaitlin Joshua Gehrls was arrested in Idaho City and booked into the Ada County Jail Monday night on a charge of sexual battery of minor 16 to 17 years of age.
The Boise County Sheriff's Office says it began investigating Gehrls on Monday after receiving a report of possible solicitation of a minor via social media.
Gehrls was arraigned on Tuesday in Boise County Magistrate Court by via video.
His bond is set at $5,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
