Avalanche risk on State Highway 21 forces closure on Thursday

The highway closure goes into effect at 4 p.m. on Feb. 15.

BOISE, Idaho — State Highway 21 will be closed between mile marker 93 and mile marker 105.5, between Grandjean and Banner Summit. All lanes will be closed.

The closure will go into effect at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 due to avalanche risk from the recent storm system that rolled into Idaho, according to Idaho 511.
