BOISE, Idaho — Rest in peace, dearest Bronco Roundup app. After nearing a decade of dedicated service to the Treasure Valley and to Bronco Nation, the Roundup app will no longer be supported.
The second phone app released by KTVB debuted in 2012 and quickly became a go-to destination of all Boise State University athletic news for Bronco Nation.
However, Boise State fans who depend on the 'Official Station for Bronco Nation' for the Gem State's best TV coverage of the Broncos have nothing to fear. With the updated KTVB app, Bronco Nation can subscribe to the "Boise State Football" category to get more tailored push alerts on their mobile devices.
With categories ranging from VERIFY, Viewpoint, The 208, and Boise State Football, people can customize the types of push alerts they receive from the KTVB app, so they never miss a beat of what they care about most.
To customize the push alert setting, after downloading the app, tap the gear settings icon in the top right-hand corner. Then, tap on notification settings and select the topics option. From there, toggle on and off which topics you'd like to receive notifications for.
Boise State fans are urged to turn on notifications for Boise State Football so they never miss any score updates, highlights or interviews from any of the Broncos' games this year.
For more in-app customization, favorite topics can be added after tapping on the star icon on the top-left corner inside the app.
