Katharine Yeatts is a Senior Producer for KTVB’s 5 p.m. show “The 208.”
Katharine joined the KTVB news team in September 2021.
She was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Katharine graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, Film, and a certificate in Integrated Marketing and Communications. She also played varsity field hockey at Northwestern.
After graduating, she moved to Philadelphia to work as a Social Media Production Intern at NFL Films. Later, she moved back to Chicago to edit and produce for studio broadcasts at NBC Sports Chicago, Big Ten Network, and Marquee Sports Network for the Chicago Cubs.
She made the transition from sports to news when she moved to Boise to work for KTVB because she wanted to highlight the unique and impactful stories of individuals in the community.
When she’s not producing the news, she loves to spend as much time outside with her dog, Grizzly, hiking, camping, and skiing.
