BOISE, Idaho — Ky Tucker is the 10 p.m. evening newscast Producer at KTVB.
Ky grew up in the Treasure Valley and loves informing the community he knows and cares about.
After spending two years on the Assignment Desk at KTVB's sister station KING-TV in Seattle, WA., Ky returned to Boise to join the team at Idaho’s News Channel 7.
Ky was born in Las Vegas and moved to Middleton, Idaho before he turned one. He attended Columbia High School and graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Media Production.
After graduating, Ky joined the team at KING and had a hand in covering some of the biggest stories in the state. This includes the first case of COVID-19 reported in the United States, the ongoing homeless crisis, and protests that gathered national attention. In fact, he lived only a few blocks away from the famous CHOP autonomous zone.
When he’s not producing the news, Ky loves to be outdoors. He likes camping, hiking, and exploring our beautiful state.
