MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Children's Museum of Idaho has expanded with new exhibits for kids to enjoy. The expansion features a planetarium, new activities, a race car exhibit and a sponsored KTVB news booth studio setup. The news exhibit has a weather wall with a green screen and an anchor desk, giving kids the opportunity to be newscasters.

"I love this museum," said museum supporter Sid Sullivan. "What a great place for children to come to."

Sullivan and his wife volunteer at the museum and help bring Title 1 school kids on field trips. He told KTVB that this museum gives kids an opportunity to put down electronic devices and have active fun while learning.

The new exhibits open Sunday, Mar. 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $13 a person, but the museum does offer discounts. People can learn more at the website.
