'Drums, please': Splash pads, interactive fountains open at Boise parks

"Time to sit back and unwind," this summertime. The water features open on Memorial Day.

BOISE, Idaho — Like DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Boise Parks and Recreation wants to "get you equipped for the summertime." The city is opening a number of splash pads and interactive water features at several parks beginning on Memorial Day.

"The City of Boise has splash pads, mister poles, and interactive fountains at seven locations across Boise parks," a news release stated.

The parks with interactive water features are, the Ann Morrison Interactive Fountain, Borah Park Spray Pad, Bowler Park Misters, Comba Park Splash Pad, Franklin Park Misters, the Grove Plaza Fountain and the Molenaar Park Splash Pad. The features are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
