Anthony Bourdain and his wife have called it quits after nearly a decade of marriage.
The Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown star and MMA fighter Ottavia Busia have separated, ET confirms. The couple tied the knot in 2007 after a whirlwind romance and welcomed a daughter that same year.
"Because of professional decisions we both have made, my husband and I have been for years in an unconventional relationship," Busia told Page Six via email. "Nothing has changed. We love each other. We respect the decisions the other has made. And we'll always consider ourselves a family."
Also according to Page Six, which first reported the news, a source close to Bourdain said that the couple has "been separated for a while," but "there was no one else involved."
Bourdain's rep had no comment when approached by ET.
The couple appears to remain on friendly terms. Just last week, Bourdain won a Creatives Arts Emmy for Parts Unknown in the Outstanding Informational Series or Special category, and Busia took to social media to congratulate him. The chef-turned-reality star is frequently -- and recently -- pictured on Busia's account, from jiu-jitsu practice to days at the pool.
