Fans expressed disappointment following Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl halftime show when there wasn't a 'NSync reunion.
Members of the group took to social media on Sunday to react to Timberlake's performance, after his 13-minute opus, which featured throwback hits from his Justified era to his newest single, "Filthy," off Man of the Woods to a Prince tribute.
The official 'NSync account tweeted immediately after JT's performance, showing support for their old bandmate. "Well done @jtimberlake you killed it!" the group wrote.

Lance Bass addressed speculation that the group would reunite for the first time in more than four years, since they briefly came together in 2013 for Timberlake's MTV Video Music Awards Video Vanguard performance.
"#ToldYa," Bass began his tweet, assuring 'NSync fans that the fivesome will once again reunite soon presumably to receive their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "But no worries, we will all be together this spring for the star ceremony. Awesome halftime Justin!"

I'm not 100% sure of this but I might have the biggest *NSYNC memorabilia collection in the world that I bought at auction. It's not gonna happen but they deserve to have a reunion at the Super Ball today & not just a 30 second bullshit one.

In January, Joey Fatone shut down rumors that there would be a 'NSync reunion at the Super Bowl. "If I was doing something, I’d be at rehearsals right now, so obviously there’s your proof: nothing,” the 40-year-old singer told TMZ at the time. “There’s nothing wrong with that! [Justin's] doing his thing!”
Timberlake also ruled out a chance for a 'NSync reunion days before the big game at his Super Bowl press conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
"To be honest, I had a ton of grand ideas about special guests," he said. "Yeah, there's a whole list... I think Vegas has a lot of odds on it, from *NSYNC to JAY-Z to Chris Stapleton to Janet [Jackson]. My band, the Tennessee Kids, I feel like they're my special guests. I'm excited this year just to rock the stage. So, yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun."
