Motorfest showcases muscle cars and more to help the Boise Rescue Mission

At the motor show, people can find muscle cars, min-trucks, hot rods, rat rods, dragsters, motorcycles, and other cars that go vroom.

BOISE, Idaho — The "Neal Alan Fine Jewelry Motorfest" is one of Idaho's largest outdoor motor shows and is going on this weekend at Expo Idaho, with two former Boise State Broncos and current NFL players attending the events

At the motor show, people can find muscle cars, min-trucks, hot rods, rat rods, dragsters, motorcycles, and other cars.

Carolina Panthers center Matt Paradis and Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison attended the event and signed autographs for attendees on Saturday.

The car show helps the Boise Rescue Mission and everyone is also encouraged to pitch in some food for the mission.

"We're partnered with the Rescue Mission, and we have the Rescue Mission - the 1952 Styleline from the Rescue Mission out here that they're raffling off," Neil Wassmuth, the owner of Motorfest said.

The raffle drawing for the Chevrolet Styleine Deluxe will take place on Sunday afternoon. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10 any time before 3 p.m. Sunday.

People can receive a voucher for a ticket to the "Race for Hunger" event on August 24 if they bring four cans of food. 

Motorfest will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Expo Idaho.
