What better way to get into the Halloween season than to have an encounter with a creepy critter? That is the idea behind the Creepy Critter Encounter at the Deer Flat Refuge on Lake Lowell in the Nampa/Caldwell area. The event free and everyone is welcome from 3 pm to 6 pm. If you have your Halloween costume you are encouraged to wear it. The day will feature encounters with creepy critters, Halloween crafts and fun for all.
