BOISE, Idaho — Slides are fun, fairly accessible and can give a kid a bird, or giraffe's eye view of the world. The giraffe slide at Zoo Boise was recently moved closer to the real giraffe exhibit, which is fitting because a group of giraffes can be called a tower.
"Zoo Boise is proud to inspire a love of learning and a passion for animal conservation in the next generation of Boiseans – and we can’t wait for the community to make memories on the giraffe slide for many years to come," a news release stated.
As kids race to slide down, they may also get an opportunity to look up and see the animal from a different view. The slide will be ready for action at Zoo Boise on Wednesday, April 24 at 9 a.m.
