BOISE - There was a major Hollywood premiere Wednesday night - right in the heart of downtown Boise.
Idaho's own Aaron Paul brought the debut of his new movie - "Triple 9" - to the Egyptian Theatre, two days before the movie premieres in theaters nationwide.
Lines formed more than two hours early for the free showing. Audience members were not able to buy tickets; instead they were given away on local radio stations and during an all-day social media scavenger hunt hosted by Paul himself. He says he plans to make it a tradition.
"I'm so proud of being from here, so any opportunity I can to get back here I jump at it, I take it," Paul told KTVB. "So I think I'll continue to do things like this until people are tired of hearing from me."
If you didn't get in on the special screening, "Triple 9" will be showing in theaters starting Friday.
