NAMPA, Idaho — A member of KTVB's Idaho Weather Watcher's Facebook group shared a video of the notorious Nampa crows flying around the Walmart parking lot on the night of Feb. 17.
Nampa's crow infestation has been an ongoing issue for several years, and locals are starting to notice their presence more as the seasons begin to change.
"When I asked one of the managers at Walmart this morning, she said they want to cut down all the trees, but [their] city said no," Steve Scarone wrote. "So they sent it up to corporate. So basically, who knows if anything will be done to get rid of the problem."
Comments on the video discussed the persistence of Nampa's crow problem. The infestation has not been received warmly by Nampa locals. Over the years, city officials have tried several approaches designed to keep the birds out of downtown and other densely populated areas.
