INGREDIENTS -- PER HAMBURGER
8 oz. hamburger patty
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 hamburger bun, 4 inches to 4-1/2 inches wide
2 tablespoons butter
2 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded OR
2 slices Swiss cheese, 3/4 oz. each, OR
2 oz. bleu cheese crumples
1/2 oz. crispy onions
2 slices bacon, thick-cut
1 onion slice
1 tomato slice
1 piece of lettuce
2 oz. ketchup
DIRECTIONS
1. Season hamburger patty on each side and place on broiler. Cook until desired doneness.
2. While burger is cooking, brush hamburger with butter and toast on broiler flat top until it is light brown in color. Set aside.
3. Prep Julienne fries into 350° F and cook for 4 minutes.
4. If cheese is desired, place 2 oz. of cheddar cheese, two slices of Swiss cheese, or 2 oz. of bleu cheese crumples on cooked hamburger and melt.
5. Place the cooked hamburger on bottom of the toasted bun. Top the hamburger with two slices of bacon and crispy onions. Shingle top part of the bun, onion, tomato, and lettuce over the burger and crispy onions.
6. Serve with a side of Julienne fries sprinkled with seasoning salt.
