NAMPA, Idaho — A sea of pink was on full display at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on Wednesday.
From the attire to the lights, close to 500 people attended the Pink on Dirt Luncheon to support Stampede for the Cure, as well as Miss Rodeo Idaho.
KTVB’s Bri Eggers emceed the event.
The luncheon was part of the 104th Snake River Stampede. Attendees ate lunch and participated in an auction to raise money for breast cancer prevention.
“It's very meaningful for the fact that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and that statistic is just heartbreaking,” volunteer Carrie Morgan said.
A highlight for many attendees, including Morgan, was meeting all of the survivors and hearing their inspirational stories.
KTVB is a sponsor of the Snake River Stampede.
