BOISE, Idaho — Just when you thought you were rid of this song forever -- think again.
The infectious children's song “Baby Shark” swam onto the Billboard Hot 100 this week and is now treading water at number 32.
The song is also number 6 in the United Kingdom.
As we've shown you in Idaho Life, Boise's own Hope Segoine is the voice behind the viral “Baby Shark” song.
“Well yeah, a lot of people go to bed at night with that song in their head, including me which I'm sorry for but that's the kind of song it is,” said Hope.
According to Nielsen Music, as of January 3rd, "Baby Shark" has earned 20.8 million streams.
Hope visited the KTVB studios Thursday afternoon to share with us the story of how she became “Baby Shark,” and her thoughts on being in one of the most viral songs in the world.
