Boise State athletes team up with the Boys & Girls Club ahead of 'Boise Kind Day'

BSU athletes and kids from the Garden City Boys & Girls Club picked up trash along the Boise River Greenbelt.

GARDEN CITY, Idaho — Boise State athletes and members of the Moseley Center Boys & Girls Club in Garden City were out serving the community on Wednesday.

They picked up trash along the Boise River Greenbelt, planted a garden, and offered watermelon and water to passerby.

"There's really fun ways that even the kids that are kindergartners, first-graders, are able to learn that, you know, it's important to care about other people and show that kindness," said Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County Director of Operations Joey Schueler.

The Moseley Center is one of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County's five locations.

Many Boys and Girls Club members will go to Boise State later this week to spend more time with the athletes and learn about college and the benefits of being physically active.
