MERIDIAN, Idaho — The Village at Meridian will soon welcome six new retailers, including the first branded Columbia Sportswear store in Idaho, officials announced on Thursday.
CenterCal Properties, which manages the Village, says the new stores and restaurants will open over the next few months.
The Village at Meridian's general manager, Hugh Crawford, said Columbia Sportswear will fit in perfectly in the shopping center when it opens this summer.
“Columbia Sportswear is an amazing addition to The Village at Meridian,” Crawford said in a statement. “With the growth of the Boise-Meridian market and the outdoor lifestyle enjoyed by our residents, retailers like Columbia saw this as a fabulous opportunity to open a full line store."
Texas de Brazil, a family-style restaurant "that blends the traditions of Brazilian cooking with Texas hospitality" is set to open in April.
The other new retailers opening in the coming months include:
- Anthony Vince’ Nail Spa, opens this summer
- Chip Cookies, a gourmet cookie shop that delivers, opens mid-summer
- Donut + Dog, an artisanal donut and craft hot dog restaurant based out of Nashville, Tennessee, open this summer
- Roosters Men's Grooming Center, opens this summer
CenterCal Properties says they are in active negotiations with potential new retailers, and are working on bringing in more "in-demand, global brands," as part of a "significant expansion" of the Village later this year.
