BOISE, Idaho — Caldwell Night Rodeo will welcome over 50,000 attendees over five thrilling nights; the rodeo is acclaimed as one of the nation’s Top 20 Professional Rodeos and also ranks within the Top 5 Large Outdoor Rodeos. Caldwell Night Rodeo will showcase an elite lineup of professional cowboys, cowgirls, and remarkable animal athletes.

The rodeo will feature over 700 top-tier participants during its seven nightly events:

  • August 11-12 – Slack (rodeo events scheduled at times other than the main rodeo because there is not enough time to squeeze everything into the main rodeo schedule)
  • August 13 – First Responder Family Night – Help show your appreciation to the hard-working first responders of our community
  • August 14 – Man Up Crusade – Wear purple to take a stand against domestic violence within the Treasure Valley.
  • August 15 – CNR Strong – Have a loved one or friend who has been impacted by cancer? Wear the color that resonates with you the most.
  • August 16 – Patriot Night – Join CNR as they celebrate the brave men and women who have or currently serve our great nation.
  • August 17 – Championship Night – Join CNR for the last night of rodeo action as the top 12 athletes from each event compete for the championship title.

CALDWELL NIGHT RODEO FOUNDATION

Caldwell Night Rodeo Foundation is the sister non-profit of Caldwell Night Rodeo. Originally beginning in 2004 as the Caldwell Western Heritage Foundation, the CWHF was created to give college scholarships to the western and agriculture involved youth of our area. Now under their new name CNRF hosts multiple events each year that strive to benefit western youth in our community. They are currently partnering with local Idaho athletes and Caldwell Night Rodeo Ambassadors to host rodeo event clinics for youth in the Treasure Valley. They also host PRCA Youth Camps that teach kids in our community that haven’t had much exposure to the rodeo lifestyle about the type of events and opportunities rodeo can bring.
