Boise Music Week celebrates its 100th season

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Music Week is celebrating its 100th season.  Founded in 1919, Boise Music Week is an annual celebration of music, dance, and theater.  All Boise Music Week events are free.

The week kicks off May 2 with an Anniversary Gala at JUMP featuring pianist Del Parkinson.

Performances during the week include the following:

  • International Dance Night
  • Music in the Park
  • All That's Jazz
  • Song of the Basque II
  • Church Night
  • Noon Organ Recitals
  • Children's Music
  • Showcase Concert
  • School Night
  • Variety Night - A Capella
  • Egyptian Theatre Organ Recital and silent movie
  • "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts
