NAMPA - Local, state and federal law enforcement raided two Nampa homes Wednesday, resulting in the arrests of four people on drug and stolen property charges.
According to the Nampa Police Department, local officers, DEA agents, and state probation and parole officers served drug-related search warrants at homes on 21st Avenue South and Railroad Court Wednesday morning. The warrants were part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.
Investigators say they seized methamphetamine and heroin from the homes. They also recovered a stolen 2014 Hyundai Accent from the Railroad Court home.
"It is not uncommon for stolen property to be found during the process of serving drug related search warrants," Lt. Eric Skoglund said in a statement.
Four people were arrested, and one issued a summons, during the raids:
- Shane M. Martin, 41, of Nampa, was arrested on three counts of trafficking heroin
- Shanon N. Martin, 37, of Nampa, was arrested on two counts of trafficking heroin
- Kamilla Weidman, 25, of Nampa, was arrested on grand theft by possession and frequenting a drug house.
- Miguel Godina, 27, of Caldwell, was arrested for frequenting a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Greg Pokorney Sr., 69, of Nampa, was issued a summons on a charge of frequenting a drug house
Those arrested were booked into the Canyon County Jail.
Police are still looking for 45-year-old Greg Pokorney, of Nampa. He has warrants for his arrest on two counts of trafficking heroin.
Anyone with information about Pokorney's whereabouts is urged to contact the Nampa Police Department at 465-2257.
"The Nampa Police Special Investigations Unit is diligently working to target local drug traffickers," said Skoglund. "We know the dangers that heroin and other illicit drugs pose to the citizens and children in our community."
