The Nampa Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 5-foot replica shark recently stolen from a local business.

NAMPA, Idaho — Nampa Police have found a 5-foot-long shark replica that was stolen from a Nampa business back in October.

The shark replica is made out of fiberglass and was stolen during a burglary.

On Friday, Nampa Police announced that the stolen shark was found but did not share how the thief was reeled in.

"It’s a shark in Nampa, for crying out loud! Kinda rare. Would a reward make you remember where you saw it? If it will, message us or give us a call because there is now a reward being offered for info leading to its return," police said in October.
