BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department (BPD) has arrested six people over selling or using illegal drugs after serving a search warrant Wednesday night as part of an investigation. Boise Police said it received several complaints about activity at a house on the 2000 block of Lemhi Street.
During the investigation, police said officers and neighbors saw suspicious activity that would relate to the sale of illegal drugs, including different people coming and going and people staying for extended periods of time. BPD said it also found evidence that drugs were being sold and used.
“Boise Police want to thank the neighbors who were alert to suspicious behavior in their neighborhood," Boise Police Captain Mike Ruffalo said. "We appreciate the partnership we have with the community and the dedication of the Neighborhood Contact Officer Unit to investigate what was considered a neighborhood problem and ultimately make these arrests."
Police had obtained one search warrant in June and the second on Wednesday, Aug. 21, which led to the arrests. During the search, police said substances were found that field tested positive for methamphetamine and cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
David Holtz, 59, of Boise was charged with possession of a controlled substance and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, held, delivered, given. 29-year-old Micah Frazier of Nampa was charged with frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, held, delivered, given.
Mindy Kraus, 38, of Meridian was charged with a probation violation and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, held, delivered, given. 23-year-old Angel Boswell of Burley was charged with failure to appear and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, held, delivered, given.
William Coleman, 29, of Boise was charged with frequenting a place where controlled substances are used, manufactured, cultivated, held, delivered, given, and 47-year-old Glenn Walker of Boise was charged with failure to appear.
