EAGLE, Idaho — A 39-year-old man from Boise has been arrested and charged with enticing a child and police believe there could be more victims.
According to the Eagle Police Department (EPD), some of their deputies, along with Star Police and the Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO), arrested Jerold Burris and charged him with felony enticing a child through use of the internet or other communication device and felony sexual exploitation of a child by electronic means.
Eagle Police arrested Burris on Oct. 7 around 10:30 a.m. Burris had inappropriate communication with a police officer, who he thought was a 15-year-old girl.
Police said the conversations took place from April 2024 until his arrest.
