Boise Police searching for attempted sexual assault suspect

Police say the attempted sexual assault was reported on Sunrise Rim, near the Boise Airport.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police are searching for a man in connection to an attempted sexual assault that happened near the Boise Airport on Thursday night.

Investigators say the attempted sexual assault was reported on the 2500 block of Sunrise Rim at about 11 p.m.

According to police, the victim told investigators that she had a few brief interactions with the suspect that night, but did not know him. The victim also told police that they were able to fight the man off, and call for help.

The man is described as about 5'7", weighing around 160 pounds, with a bald head, a goatee, and a teardrop tattoo near one eye.
