BOISE, Idaho — A man was found in a field after having a "medical emergency" Wednesday, Jan. 10, and police have started an investigation into the death.
On Friday, the Bonneville County Sheriff's Department (BCSD) said they and an Idaho Falls ambulance responded to a man having a medical emergency at a home in the 3000 E. block of Swan Valley Highway. They found victim Kelly Hincks, 62, in a field near the home.
Police said they started to perform life-saving measures, but he was declared dead at the scene.
According to the news release, Hincks is a person of interest in a May 2022 homicide case of Morey Pelton.
Police are working with the Bonneville County Coroner in the investigation.
