First degree murder charge filed against man in Idaho Falls

The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney has also filed four other felonies against Lance Broncho in relation to Eric Leask's homicide.

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney, Randy Neal, filed five felony charges against 23-year-old Lance Broncho in relation to the homicide of Eric Leask in Idaho Falls in March of 2024.

Neal charged Broncho with first degree murder, robbery, burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm and aggravated battery. According to a news release, penalty enhancement requests for conviction of use of a firearm for murder were also filed.

If convicted, Broncho could face the death penalty.

A judge deemed Broncho a flight risk and he has been held without bail.
