TWIN FALLS - A Caldwell man has been sentenced to nearly 40 years in prison for trying to lure children into his car.

The Times-News reports 41-year-old Chad McLean was arrested last September after three Twin Fall girls told their parents that a strange man tried to talk to them. One girl said McLean had offered her a ride while she was walking home from school.

Police identified McLean as a suspect after he was arrested in Caldwell under similar charges.
