Man arrested when deputies find 190 grams of meth after traffic stop

HORSESHOE BEND, Idaho — A 66-year-old man from Emmett, Idaho was arrested when Boise County Sheriff's Deputies found 190 grams of meth and other paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to the Boise County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), deputies pulled Gregory Brockett over for a traffic offense near Horseshoe Bend on Sept. 11. After a canine search, deputies found the drugs, arrested Brockett and booked him in the Ada County Jail.

Brockett is currently charged with felony trafficking of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; however, law enforcement obtained an additional search warrant on Sept. 12 and there could be more charges.
