BOISE, Idaho — A man has died after he was run over several times. According to the Boise Police Department (BPD) the man was found on W. Overland Rd. near S. Atlantic Rd. on Nov. 1 around 9:40 p.m. His identity is not known at this time, BPD said.
"Boise Police officers responded to a call for service from a driver in the area who reported they had run over what they believed to be an already deceased person in the roadway. Arriving officers located an adult male victim with severe fatal injuries. Upon further investigation, officers learned that several drivers saw what they believed to be an object in the roadway and were able to swerve out of the way, but some drivers were not able to, stated BPD.
Police said that evidence shows he was run over several times. Police interviewed several witnesses, and the Trauma Intervention Program of Treasure Valley (TIP) assisted.
BPD said this is an active investigation and the victim's identity will be released from the Ada County Coroner after family is notified.
