CALDWELL, Idaho — Middleton Mayor Darin Taylor was arrested and booked into the Canyon County Jail Saturday night on a domestic battery charge.
According to the jail roster, he was booked at 9:16 p.m.
Details of the charge and his arrest were unavailable Sunday morning. Canyon County spokesman Joe Decker said the Canyon County Sheriff's Office was the arresting agency.
More information is expected to come out Monday, however. Decker told KTVB that he plans to reach out to the prosecutor's office Monday morning for a probable cause affidavit, and he said Taylor's arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. His bond will also be set then.
