MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — A Mountain Home man has been arrested and charged with solicitation for murder, the Elmore County Sheriff's Office said.
Ricky Eugene Weaver was arrested at his home Thursday night after Elmore County sheriff's detectives and members of the Elmore County Special Response team executed a no-knock search warrant at his home.
A warrant for Weaver's arrest was received earlier on Thursday after detectives completed their investigation.
Weaver was booked into the Elmore County Jail, and he has also been charged with battery on a peace officer and resisting arrest. He's being held on a $1 million bond for the solicitation for murder charge and a $10,000 bond for the battery charge.
The sheriff's office said the targeted victim's identity is not being released to protect that person's privacy, and that no other details are being disclosed at this time.
