A Nampa man is behind bars after police say he had inappropriate sexual contact with two underage girls.
Ashton Joseph Sedrick, 18, was arrested Monday on two counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16 and one count of sexual abuse of a child under 16.
Detectives began investigating Sedrick after receiving tips that he was having sexual contact with girls he was acquainted with. A warrant was issued in the case Thursday.
Sedrick is currently held in the Canyon County Jail on a $100,000 bond. The police department is urging any other victims of a sexual assault to come forward.
"Sexual assaults crimes tend to be under-reported.
