NAMPA — New surveillance video today shows a hit-and-run in Nampa as it damaged a vehicle and home.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. Saturday when a dark sports car sped down Emery Avenue and rammed into a car parked in the driveway.
The collision caused the parked car to go through the garage.
"I was woken up abruptly in the middle of the night by my sister freaking out,” said Katie Harig. “She's like someone, the car is in the driveway in the garage, Katie you need to get up. I run down here and see my car halfway in the garage door."
The sports car then drove away.
Nampa police is investigating the hit-and-run but neighbors are working together to spread the word and track down the reckless driver.
