NAMPA, Idaho — Nampa police are asking residents to "shelter in place" while they look into whether a bomb threat called in late Thursday afternoon is credible.
Police said in Twitter post that an "unsubstantiated bomb threat" was called in for the area of Constitution Way and South Juniper Street.
Sgt. Tim Riha told KTVB that officers have not found any evidence of a bomb, but are continuing to investigate if there is any credibility to the threat. He said a bomb squad from Gowen Field had been called in to assist.
Residents are being asked to stay inside as a precaution, Riha added.
