PHOENIX — Chad Daybell’s former house in Idaho has a new owner.
The doomsday author was convicted earlier this year in three murders, including two kids from Arizona. Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow were his current wife Lori Vallow’s two children.
Daybell was also convicted of the murder of his first wife, Tammy Daybell.
Their Idaho home, which was acquired by Daybell’s defense attorney during this case, went up for sale after his trial.
SJ Healing Crossroads, a new local nonprofit, purchased the home last week, according to the Fremont County Assessor's Office.
The organization plans to take down the house and turn the property into a site of peace, healing and hope, according to their fundraiser. They also plan to support victims of trauma.
Chad Daybell was sentenced to death in this case and is currently one of nine people on Idaho’s death row.
Lori Vallow was also convicted in her children’s murders and is currently in custody in Arizona facing charges for the death of her former husband, Charles Vallow and a shooting attempt on her niece's ex-husband.
Investigators believe Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow had dark religious beliefs that fueled the crimes.
