KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — Two North Idaho men were arrested for child exploitation charges this week.
According to the Idaho Attorney General's Office, a search warrant was served at Bryce Berg's home on Tuesday, October 22. Berg was arrested for 10 counts of possession of child exploitation material and one count of attempted voyeurism.
One day later, a search warrant was served at the home of Gregg McFarlane, where he was arrested on seven counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material and three counts of possession of computer-generated image child sexual exploitation material.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted in both arrests. The Post Falls Police Department, Coeur d'Alene Police Department and the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office were among other law enforcement agencies that assisted in the arrests.
“It’s a difficult job and it takes a toll on the staff who are so dedicated to the safety of Idaho’s kids,” Attorney General Raúl Labrador said. “However, everyone on our ICAC Task Force is committed to stopping the cycle of exploitation and removing these abusers from our communities. I’m very grateful for the expanding agency partnerships that make this effort successful across the state.”
