People from 4 Twin Falls massage parlors charged with procurement of prostitution

Police arrested and charged four people and have another woman in custody. More charges could come as more victims are found by police.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Four people have been arrested and charged with felony procurement of prostitution following a police investigation into four Twin Falls massage parlors. Procurement of prosecution is defined in Idaho code as; "Any person who induces, compels, entices, or procures another person to engage in commercial sexual activity."

"The City of Twin Falls is a family friendly community and businesses that traffic human beings for sexual purposes will not be tolerated here.  The Twin Falls Police Department will continue to work with our partner agencies to include our federal partners and more criminal charges may be filed in the future," Chief Craig Kingsbury said.

According to the Twin Falls Police Department (TFP), the four people were arrested on Aug. 26 around 10:30 a.m., after the parlors were served with arrest warrants. Women, Gaili Xing, Lan Wong, Limin Xu, and one man, Salmin Kahn, were charged with felony procurement of prostitution. Another woman is in custody, police are still trying to identify her.

Perfect Massage, Dragon Massage, Massage 404 and Sunflower Day Spa were being investigated for several months. TFP said the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit was heavily involved. Jerome County Sheriff's Office, Idaho State Police, and the Mini-Cassia drug task also helped deliver the warrants.

More arrests and charges could be filed as more victims are identified.
