CALDWELL, Idaho — The Caldwell Police Department (CPD) is investigating an arson and vandalism incident as a hate crime. According to CPD, police responded to a fire on Sept. 4 at 2:54 a.m., when they arrived, they found a grey F-150 pickup had been lit on fire and spray-painted with a swastika.
The pickup was located on the 400 block of S. 12th Ave. Police said the Caldwell Fire Department quickly put the fire out. Caldwell Police are investigating it as a hate crime.
