NAMPA, Idaho —

A Nampa man suspected of "various incidents" of child sexual abuse is in jail, after police pulled him over Thursday and took him into custody.

The Nampa Police Dept. said Idaho State Police stopped 35-year-old Nicholas Keith Vallard and arrested him without incident on a Canyon County warrant. The warrant was issued for Vallard's arrest in connection with an investigation into the sex-abuse allegations.

Vallard is being held in jail on two counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16, and one count of child sex abuse of a minor under 16 years of age. Bond is set at $750,000.

Nampa Police said Thursday that investigators are concerned Vallard may have other victims. They ask anyone with information to contact Detective M. Palfreyman by email at Palfreymanm@cityofnampa.us or by phone at 208-468-5632.

Vallard was booked into the Ada County Jail after ISP arrested him. Because police are concerned about possible victims not known at this time, KTVB is posting Vallard's mugshot.
