BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police detectives say they have made an arrest in connection with a report of shots fired early Monday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of W. Russett Street at 12:43 a.m.
Police say two men were in a vehicle when a man approached the vehicle and began shouting at the driver. The driver got out of the vehicle and that's when the man pulled out a gun and fired a single shot. The suspect ran from the scene.
The driver told police he did not know the man who fired at him.
Multiple officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. They could not find where the bullet struck.
No one was injured during this incident.
After further investigation, detectives identified Richard Legall, 38, of Boise as a suspect. He was arrested Monday night and booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
