BOISE, Idaho — On Friday night, a police officer was responding to a call of a reported drunk driver on Hill Road in Boise. The officer found the pickup that they were looking for, but the driver ended crashing head-on into the police officer's vehicle.
Police say the officer saw the truck drive into his lane and slowed down to nearly a stop on the side of the road before the driver crashed into him.
The driver was arrested for driving under the influence, but police have not released the identity of the person.
Investigators say no one was seriously injured in the crash but both vehicles were towed.
