Police searching for suspect in Garden City bank robbery

Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-10, 185-pound white male in his late teens or early 20's, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, black hat and white shoes.

GARDEN CITY, Idaho — An investigation is underway after a man robbed a Garden City bank Tuesday afternoon. The robbery happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Adams Street. 

According to the Garden City Police Department, the man gave a demand note to a bank teller after entering the building. After receiving an "undisclosed amount of money," the suspect walked out of the bank. 

Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-10, 185-pound white male in his late teens or early 20's, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, a black hat with a logo and white shoes.

The man was last seen near the intersection of East 41st Street and Adams Street in Garden City. 

Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect is asked to call Garden City Police at 208-472-2950 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
