NAMPA, Idaho -- There are serious allegations against two women who worked at the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections in Nampa.

These two women are being accused of statutory rape and this is the third person to come forward in a year.

A tort claim filed Friday with the Idaho Secretary of State says two women took advantage of a teenager at IDJC in 2008 and 2009. Attorney Bruce Skaug is representing him and says his client was groomed for molestation.

"They would give him prescription drugs on top of the ones he was already taking and he was abused sexually," said Skaug.

His client was 16-years-old at the time and had been incarcerated with mental health diagnoses in 2008. Skaug says it took his client about five years to come forward because he was being threatened.

"He was told things could happen to him if he talk to police," said Skaug. "He was also told that nobody would believe him because he was an inmate."

A nurse is one of the alleged molesters and the other was an intern at the facility. They are no longer working at IDJC and KTVB will not name them unless they are officially charged.

This is the third case Skaug has taken in the last year. He says the first victim was 15-years-old when he was molested by Julie McCormick. She was the safety and security supervisor at IDJC. McCormick is now behind bars for felony lewd conduct with a child.

Skaug says the second teenager was a victim of two other women, and at this point have not been prosecuted.

The most recent tort claim says the sexual crimes were no secret among the staff at IDJC, but little or nothing was done about it. When reaching out to the facility the response was no comment because of pending litigation.

A lawsuit is expected to be filed in about six months which is what needs to happen for the jury trial to begin.
