BOISE, Idaho — A woman was sexually assaulted by a man while walking on the Boise Greenbelt under the Capitol Village Bridge. According to the Boise Police Department (BDP) and Boise State University, the woman was assaulted by a man riding a bike on Thursday, July 18 around 10:17 a.m.
"Officers were dispatched to a report that an unknown suspect had grabbed a female's buttocks as she was walking on The Greenbelt. Officers circulated a photo of the suspect shortly after receiving it and our currently looking for him," BPD stated.
The man is described as white, wearing glasses, a gray shirt, gray shorts, white shoes and a gray backpack. He was riding a green bike.
Boise State said the man headed east, riding his bike through Julia Davis Park.
