FRUITLAND, Idaho — A Homedale woman is facing charges after authorities say she led deputies on a chase that spanned two counties.

According to the Payette County Sheriff's Office, deputies with the Canyon County Sheriff's Office pulled over 39-year-old Crystal Boggs of Homedale on suspicion of DUI.

Boggs drove away from that traffic stop, sparking a pursuit all the way to the Payette County line, officials say.

At about 12:12 a.m., Canyon County deputies contacted Payette County to ask for help on the chase. Payette County deputies then joined in the pursuit.

At one point, deputies say, Boggs called the Payette County dispatch to ask the deputies to stop chasing her.

The pursuit came to an end at 12:30 a.m. after deputies deployed spike strips on Highway 95 Near NW 1 ½ Avenue, in Fruitland. A deputy also used a PIT maneuver to ram Boggs' vehicle, forcing it to a halt.

Deputies then broke the driver's side window and pulled Boggs out of her car. She was arrested for felony eluding and DUI. Officials say she also received citations for not wearing a seatbelt and driving without a license.
