SPOKANE, Wash. — Three men have been arrested after allegedly shooting a gel gun at Spokane emergency crews.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Brandon Page, 25-year-old Christian Madsen and 20-year-old Micah Springer were reportedly driving around Spokane in a Ford F-350 truck with Idaho license plates on Dec. 27. They allegedly shot at a delivery man and a woman with AMR responding to a medical call before officers with the Spokane Valley Police Department pulled them over and arrested them.

One victim in the incident testified that she was working with AMR and providing medical assistance to someone on West Main Avenue before she was hit with the gel gun. She reportedly observed the truck circling the location with one of the men yelling something at her before she was hit.

The woman said the impact felt like "a rubber band slapping against her skin" and that she found multiple orange "orbies" pellets around her. Other crew members and firefighters witnessed the incident and notified police, according to documents.

Later in the day, a man delivering packages in downtown Spokane said he saw the same truck drive by him on Division and Main. He was reportedly hit in the back of his head and felt liquid on the back of his neck. Worried that the pellet was laced with something, the delivery man said he began to have trouble breathing before notifying the Spokane Police Department.

Madsen, Page and Springer were eventually pulled over and arrested by officers. All three have been released from jail at this time, but are still charged with multiple counts of third-degree assault. Their arraignments have been scheduled for Jan. 10, 2024.
