BOISE – A man and a woman are jailed on drug-related charges after a road rage incident in Boise last night.
Boise police were called to the intersection of W. Overland Road and S. Orchard Street at 11:35 p.m.
Witnesses told officers that two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic accident in a parking lot. At some point, a man got out of one of the vehicles and brandished a gun at the people in the other car. He then got back in his car and fled the scene.
Officers were able to quickly locate the car at the intersection of W. Kootenai Street and S. Phillippi Street. A search of the area turned up a handgun in a nearby bush and a plastic baggy containing a crystalline substance.
Police arrested 31-year-old Louis Wallace of Boise. He was booked into the Ada County Jail on two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and a probation violation.
Officers also searched the female occupant of the car identified as 27-year-old Elean Magee of Boise. A syringe that tested positive for meth was found in her possession. She was booked into the jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
