MERIDIAN, Idaho — Think you can keep up with Kristin Armstrong in a cycling class? There's only one way to find out.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist was on hand Tuesday morning as her new gym, called Pivot Lifestyle and Fitness by KA, opened up at Ten Mile Crossing in Meridian.
Classes in the gym include hot yoga and, of course, indoor cycling.
Armstrong says she'll even be teaching some of the classes.
"Really, my new journey is to help others better their health," she said. "And we want to meet you where you are in your journey of health. Yes, we're a gym, we have health coaching, we have a dietitian, we have massage. We just want to help you be your best."
The 10,000 square-foot fitness center is the first of four KA gyms planned in the Treasure Valley over the next 10 months.
Two of the gyms will be in Boise and one will be in Eagle.
